In official press release OneCoin announced that Pierre Arens has been appointed as the new CEO of the company. This was one of the big announcements, made by the OneCoin Founder and Visionary, Dr. Ruja Ignatova, in front of 4500 people at the OneLife event in Macau, China.
Mr. Arens has extensive industry knowledge with over 25 years of experience in senior management roles in banking and corporate finance. Prior to becoming part of OneCoin, he was the Managing Director: Credit Structuring, Treasury & Financial Markets at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL).
Mr Arens holds an MBA in Finance from Sacred Heart University, Connecticut, and a Master’s from Université Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV). He is fluent in his native Luxembourgish as well English, German, French and Italian.
The new CEO of OneCoin said: "I'm honoured, and grateful for the opportunity to lead an exceptional organisation like OneCoin, where opportunities and challenges abound… My goal as CEO is to pave the way for OneCoin to become the number one cryptocurrency in terms of usability and number of users”.
